10:30 or 11:30 Saturday ride. Meet at Westgate.

90% chance of rain tomorrow, but that means 10% chance of a dry ride!   Looking at the radar, it may not hit us until later in the day. Thus we are planing on getting a ride in, but will watch the weather and try to do it after it warms up, but before it rains.  Tentatively, sometime around 10, 11, 12, or 1. If interested, watch this blog in the morning, for a specific time, when the weather becomes more clear.

Ok, new revised plan.  Meet at 10:30 to ride for an hour and be back at Westgate at 11:30 to meet Lisa, Sheila, and Ellen (she ran a fast 10 miles this morning so wants a shorter ride) for a ride.  This way Sheila can pick up her wheel and get back for the ride.  Lisa needs just 16 miles to finish off 2,000 miles for the year! The upshot is, meet at 11:30 for a 16 mile ride and meet at 10:30 for a bit longer. -Keith

Black Friday Bike Ride

Bike ride! Today, Black Friday, meeting at West Gate at 1 pm. This is a social ride, all paces, distances based upon what you like. My daughter and her classmate who came down from Wisconsin are riding. Everybody I am with says they are in bad shape and so the ride length will be about 15 miles for us. The route will be a modified Bill's route, with an out and back course that goes to the last intersection before you turn South to go to Lerna. We will probably stop at Meadow Shark for a minute for pictures. Winds are 18 MPH so, out will be some work but back will be a breeze.

Since it is going to be so very windy, we are planning 16 plus miles, depending on what everyone prefers.

It should be about 58 degrees with a lot of south wind.  We are just planning a short ride on what we call Bill's route which is 16 miles and is somewhat sheltered from the wind.  The time is adjustable if there is a better time for others.

Moderate pace bike ride to Greenup, with lunch stop at Greenup. Meet at Westgate, 10:25 am. Cooler temps in morning, and warming up some after lunch. Jersey color - your choice.

Wednesday ride at 1:00. Meet at Westgate.

Saturday 11/5 Bike Ride

I couldn't get the blog to let me comment, so I have to post. I signed in, signed out, and signed back in without results so here's my response.

I am interested in riding Saturday and the time is right for me. How far is it? It makes no difference, but it might help me figure out when we would get back. Any word on the forecast, temps, etc? Jerry
